The atmosphere at the Velódromo Municipal do Rio was electric. After years of relentless training and two consecutive 3rd-place finishes in 2023 and 2024, the goal for 2025 was clear: the top step of the podium.
The race was a masterclass in tactical cycling. Competing in the C5 category, Niels showed incredible stamina and a flawless final sprint that left the competition behind. Crossing the finish line in 1st place wasn’t just a personal win; it was a victory for the entire team and the partners who believed in this journey.
